The NCC Develops Character, comradeship, ideals of Service and Capacity for leadership in the youth of the Country, to stimulate interest in the defence of the country by providing service training to the youth and to build up a reserve to enable the Armed Forces to expand rapidly during a National Emergency.


• To Create a Human Resource of Organized, Trained and Motivated Youth, To provide Leadership in all walk of life and be always available for the service of the Nation.
• To provide a suitable Environment to motivate the Youth to take up a Career in the Armed Forces.
• To Develop Character, Comradeship, Discipline, Leadership, Secular outlook, Spirit of Adventure and Ideals of Selfless Service amongst the Youth of the Country.

• The Final decision for selection of “Unity and Discipline” as motto for the NCC was taken in the 12th Central Advisory Committee meeting held on 12 Oct 1980


The NCC is a responsive, learning and continuously evolving organization. Its activity is guided by certain core values that we endeavour to instil among all rank of the NCC. These include the Following.

NCC in our college:

NCC Unit was started in 1967 for Boys. Our NCC Company is affiliated to 20 KARANATAKA BATALLION, SHIVAMOGGA, MANGALORE GROUP HQ Mangalore NCC DIRECTORATE KARNATAKA & GOA. Now our company’s authorized and enrolled strength is 108. Out of this Seiner Division (Boys) is 72 and Seiner Wing (Girls) is 36 Cadets. At the training session the NCC cadets are trained as per the Scheduled programme. The training started from July to January. In the training schedule NCC Cadets attended the literary, health awareness, tree plantation and traffic awareness program, Aids Awareness Camp, Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan rallies, Blood Donation Camps, Yoga Day, Covid-19 awareness program were also organized by our cadets to create awareness among the people. As the part of the NCC training our cadets attended several camps like CATC, Armey attachment, National Integration Camp, TSC,RDC, Trekking Camps, Mountaineering Camps etc.
